Refund policy

Last updated: 2 August 2026

We hope you are delighted with your Gospel Growers books. If something is not right with your order, please contact us and we will do our best to resolve it fairly and promptly.

Our 30-day return policy

You may request a return within 30 days of receiving your order.

For a voluntary or change-of-mind return outside any statutory cancellation rights, books must be unread, unmarked and returned in a resaleable condition. Please include the original packaging where reasonably possible.

You will need your order number, the email address used to place the order and proof of purchase.

Starting a return

To request a return, email hello@gospelgrowers.com before sending anything back.

If your return is accepted, we will provide the correct return address and instructions. Please do not return books directly to BookVault or to an address printed on the parcel, as BookVault does not accept ordinary retailer returns.

Unless we agree otherwise, returned items should be sent within 14 days of receiving our return instructions. Returns sent without contacting us first may be delayed because we may be unable to identify the order.

Change-of-mind returns

Customers are responsible for the cost of returning an unwanted item. We recommend using a tracked postal service, as we cannot issue a refund for a return that does not reach us.

Original delivery charges are not normally refundable for voluntary returns, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise.

We do not charge a restocking fee.

Damaged, defective, misprinted or incorrect books

Please inspect your order when it arrives. If a book is damaged, defective, misprinted or different from what you ordered, contact us as soon as possible—preferably within seven days of delivery—at hello@gospelgrowers.com.

Please include:

  • Your Gospel Growers order number

  • A description of the problem

  • Clear photographs of the damage or printing issue

  • Photographs of the cover, spine and affected pages

  • Photographs of the packaging and delivery label, where relevant

These details help us raise the issue promptly with our printing and fulfilment partner, BookVault.

Please keep the affected book and packaging until we confirm whether they are needed. In many cases, you will not need to return a damaged or misprinted book.

Depending on the circumstances and your rights under applicable consumer law, we will arrange a replacement, refund or another appropriate remedy. We will cover or reimburse reasonable return postage where an item is confirmed to be damaged, faulty or incorrect.

Reporting a problem promptly helps us investigate it with BookVault, but this does not limit any statutory rights you may have.

Bundles

For a voluntary change-of-mind return, a book bundle must be returned as a complete set to qualify for a full bundle refund.

If only one book within a bundle is damaged, defective or incorrect, contact us before returning anything. We may replace or refund the affected book, or provide another remedy required by applicable consumer law.

Personalised products and gift cards

Books that have been genuinely personalised or produced to a customer’s individual specifications cannot normally be returned because of a change of mind.

Gift cards are non-refundable except where applicable law requires otherwise.

These exclusions do not apply where an item is faulty, damaged, misprinted, incorrectly supplied or where applicable consumer law provides a right to a remedy.

Discounted products and bundles remain covered by this policy and by all applicable consumer rights.

Exchanges

We do not operate a standard exchange service. For an unwanted item, the simplest option is to return it in accordance with this policy and place a separate order.

Where an item is damaged, defective, misprinted or incorrect, we may arrange a replacement without requiring a new order.

UK cancellation rights

If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom, you normally have the legal right to cancel an online order without giving a reason.

You must tell us that you wish to cancel within 14 days beginning on the day after you receive your order. After notifying us, you then have a further 14 days to return the goods.

For a valid UK statutory cancellation, we will refund the price paid for the returned goods and the cost of our least expensive standard delivery method. Any additional amount paid for express or upgraded delivery is not refundable.

You are normally responsible for return postage unless the goods are damaged, faulty, incorrect or we have agreed otherwise.

We may reduce a refund where handling beyond what would reasonably be permitted in a shop has reduced the value of the goods.

Personalised books or books made to your individual specifications may be excluded from the statutory right to cancel. This exclusion does not affect your rights if the product is faulty or not as described.

Order cancellations

If you need to cancel an order before dispatch, contact us immediately at hello@gospelgrowers.com.

Because our books are printed to order, we cannot guarantee that production or dispatch can be stopped once it has begun. This does not affect any right you may have to return the order after delivery.

Refunds

We will notify you when we receive and inspect your return and confirm whether the refund has been approved.

Approved refunds will be made to the original payment method. We will process refunds within 14 calendar days of receiving the returned goods—or receiving acceptable evidence that they have been sent back where applicable law requires this.

Your bank or card provider may take additional time to display the refund in your account.

If 15 business days have passed since we confirmed that your refund was processed, please contact hello@gospelgrowers.com.

Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or replaces any rights or remedies available to you under the consumer laws that apply in your country or region.
